Returning to Pom Pom by The Corner after a long hiatus, I decided to explore their Thai offerings, and what a delightful discovery it turned out to be. I had read about their once-famous green curry chicken spaghetti but noticed it was no longer on the menu. Not one to be easily dissuaded, I politely requested the waitress to check if the chef could still prepare it for us. The chef, graciously, complied.
This off-menu gem was a true delight. The creamy green curry perfectly infused into the spaghetti, creating a harmonious blend of flavours. At RM19.90, it was well worth the price.
In fact, I liked it so much that we had a plate of rice that I used to soak up all the curry.
Our meal at Pom Pom by The Corner also included a few other dishes: the deep-fried kailan (RM17), which was exceptional. The stems were crunchy and full of taste, while the leaves were fried to a crispy perfection.
The Thai pork knuckle (RM25) was decent, though not particularly remarkable.
The butter chicken (RM23) at Pom Pom By The Corner leaned more towards a salted egg chicken in flavour, which was still enjoyable but not exactly what we expected.
