Meal at Acqua e Farina Keong Saik
Italian, Non-Halal
Chiefeater Luke Soon was at Keong Saik to visit the second outlet of Acqua e Farina and enjoyed his meal there
Greek, Pastries
Poseidon Greek Bakery is a Greek pastry establishment started over a 101 years ago and still going strong today. This is one of those places we have to root for. Just like our old bakeries in Malaysia serving chiffon cake, egg tarts and other timeless favourites.
We were served by 2nd gen owner (matriarch), and service was superb. She said aptly “we must be doing something right to survive a century”.
And right they are- whatever Greek sounding pastry we ordered came out fresh and fluffy. Not sure how else to describe pastry - not my kinda thing - but even for a non ‘wrapped food’ lover like myself - this is next level. I would say the same for the pizza dough in NYC.
Kudos to Poseidon Greek Bakery at 7/10 and I hope the Grecian icon in NYC grows from strength to strength under the 3rd gen son Philip.
