Don’t know what to eat for breakfast? Come to Ampang and try this 70 years old pure "west knife" fishball noodles at Restoran Ampang Dua Dua Enam. According to the owner they only add salt and umami seasoning which means MSG la and not other chemicals. The previous generation also still come out to take care of the counter. It is located just opposite the famous Foong Foong Yong Tau Foo.
Restoran Ampang Dua Dua Enam is a popular eatery located in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is known for its Ampang-style fishball noodles, which is a dish made with rice noodles served in a flavorful broth made with fish bones, dried anchovies, and other seasonings, and topped with fishballs, sliced fish cake, and vegetables such as lettuce and scallions.
The fishballs here are made fresh daily with wolf herring / ikan parang / sai too fish. They are said to be bouncy, flavorful, and slightly chewy, making them a highlight of the dish. The locals often recommend trying the chili sauce served on the side, which is said to be spicy and tangy, adding an extra kick to the already delicious dish.
