Basilico Restaurant Lunch
Italian, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater William WL Loo wanted a change of palate from street food so indulged in a bit of Italian with lunch at Basilico Restaurant
Curry Mee, Yong Tau Foo, Non-Halal
Thanks to Chiefeater VK for his review of Restoran May Shaw. Hakka Mee was yesterday's story. A bit on the sweet side but acceptable as the sambal hae bee was salty so it covers the sweetness.
Then the friendly waitress told us Saturdays and public holidays only have yong tau foo and as both my daughter and myself were great fans of ytf we went again today. We chose brinjal only for ytf as I can't take the fucuk or anything soya. So be it.
Ok chicken curry beehoon was good. Curry considered good.
The wantan mee is also good.
Overall today's meal is more satisfying then yesterday and we will go back again as we want to try the ying yong and fish head beehoon. Price is oso good. RM26 for the two bowls of noodles and 6 pcs of ytf.
