Chiefeater Celeste Tan ponders on the question if Singapore is ready for the Hokkaido Soup Curry at Soup Curry by Ki-setsu

Chinese, Non-Halal
My morning seafood noodles haven’t actually digested fully and yet we were being ushered to another makan haven. Dinner at Restoran OK Kari Kepala Ikan was supposed to be 7.00 pm but have to push forward to almost 9.00 pm.
We opted for congee thinking that this time around we didnt have to fill over stomachs to the brim. The waiter came and rapped his signature dishes which was too fast for us to catch hold of. To simplify things, we focussed all the energies on our fingers and pointed a few dishes we liked. We chose 7 dishes out of the so many offered and all S size. Within minutes, out came the piping hot congee, bobbling away almost like an angry lava about to spill out from a crater.

One by one came the dishes. Lo and behold, the S size dish looked like M size. When we had sampled the 5th dish, our stomachs were already 8th month pregnant size. Thanks God, the waiter missed out the other 2 dishes we ordered. Well, my verdict is, this is OKly good as the name of the shop signage named so…Restoran OK.
Deep Fried Threadfin Fish

Signature Fried Tofu

Tai Wong Mew vege stir fry with Fu Yee

Deep Fried Brinjal coated with Duck Egg

Blanched Chicken
