Siak Kee Fish Ball House
Post by Chiefeater David Ng
Siak Kee Fish Ball House at the corner of Jalan Pudu's Wai Sek Kai is famous for their fish balls. It is the first stall from the Jalan Pudu entrance recommended by regulars at the hakka noodle stall nearby. We had it in the morning and it was so good. It is now dinner time, I still miss it so much that I wished we had ta pow some back.
The fish balls were so fresh, bouncy and yummy, good bites. The soup was really good with the chinese dried vege (chai bo) well cooked for stocks which gave it a very natural sweetness to the soup, yummy. Will visit again.
On the way back to our vehicle we curiously checked out the many small butterflied sole fishes placed out to sun dry. Found out it is ingredient for wanton noodle by the shop (Chun Kei Tai Bu Noodle) behind it. Another good reason to return to check this place out in the day time again.
