I had a coffee catch up with Chiefeater RQ at Starman Coffee and noticed that Starman Cafe has added Crozza to their menu. A crozza is a hybrid of a croissant and a pizza. So think of a large croissant with a recess in the middle for toppings to go into. The coffee here remains the best brew to be had in Puchong, in my opinion.
I had a Tuna Crozza to go and I brought it home for lunch. It survived the jouney well as you can see from the picture. The pastry held up without becoming soggy. The crozza was about the size of a 9 inch pizza. Good size for a light lunch for 2 pax. Or perhaps even 3 pax if you are a really light eater.
Starman Coffee was generous with their filling of tuna in the crozza. There were some bits of pineapple on it too. I am always apprehensive about pineapple on pizza but this worked well. The flavours blended the slight sweetness of the pineapple with savouriness and briny taste of the tuna.
Definitely, a worthy addition to the menu here. Other items that they have added here include Kouign Amann (RM8+).
