I needed to fulfil my quota of eateries outside Puchong so we ended up Sushi Koi Taman Paramount for an early dinner one night. It was quite by accident that we ended here as we were just looking around SEA Park to see what were the eateries available. I had already done Habanna many times and Broom too. So it was time to try something different.

Sushi Koi Taman Paramount presented a cheerful exterior and an available parking lot just right in front of the restaurant. We wanted a light meal so we shared a Koi Gogiku Gozen set (RM71++). The set comes with Saba Shioyaki & Mixed Tempura, a 3 Combination Sashimi Platter, a Chawanmushi, Japanese Rice, a Miso soup and 2 pieces of Mochi. 

Being the only diners there (we were there at 5:30 pm on a weekday so we were very early for dinner), they gave us their full attention and there were certainly no complains about their wait service.

The items in the set were as described earlier. Everything was competently and efficiently presented, the flavours were somewhat lacking in the Saba and the tempura. Perhaps the only thing I enjoyed there was the Chawan mushi because I had not had my fill of eggs that day. Being the light dinner eaters that we are, the set was enough for the 2 of us. I dare say it might not be enough for those with heartier appetites. 

So if we were to order 2 sets, it would have easily been about a RM160 nett spend for both of us. At that price, my personal take is that there are better options available.

The ++ is for a 10% service charge and the 6% SST.
