Wang Ji Kopitiam (though the romanised signboard reads Ji Wang) at Paya Mengkuang, Melaka. Paya Mengkuang town lies somewhere between Kuala Sungai Baru and Masjid Tanah. It is about 50 minutes to the north west of Melaka City.
After visiting 2 durian farms at Kuala Sungai Baru, Melaka, we stopped by Wang Ji Kopitiam at Paya Mengkuang for lunch. The wan tan mee, Koay teow soup and WTM soup all cost RM5.00 per plate, bowl. That's RM1.00 to RM1.50 cheaper than those in Melaka City.
Food in the smaller towns is normally cheaper.
