Hotpot
The new Zi Wei Yuen Fish Head Hotpot is not what the Original Zi Wei Yuen of yester years. Not surprising as if not mistaken the owners have changed, and the new owners have expended with more outlets and have gone in a different direction from the original, more polished.
It has been a long time our last visit to Zi Wei Yuen Fish Head Hotpot for the Milky Fish head Steamboat. (Pre COVID in fact) so long ago it was that they had new owners, more outlets in other towns and the original have relocated to a more central Raja Uda Location (better parking actually), Next to Petronas but smaller premises.
While the Original Soup base remains and as tasty as ever, there are now more choices in soup base, different type of add on ingredients for your steam boat. Still a very tasty meal.
We stuck to the original soup base, Milky, Garupa Fish Head, and order a number of the add on ingredients. If you are nostalgic for Pork Meat Balls, Normal Slice Meat, Pork Liver that would be a different story.
