We had to try another Sunday roast while in Manchester, just for the sake of comparison. We headed to Browns Manchester after our usual mass attendance and was greeted with a totally different ambience, compared to Roast in Borough Market, London. The ambience of Browns exuded the time in the 40s to 50s period where restaurants had woody interior and stoney walls and the name is apt…it was brown.
We ordered several plates of Sunday roast and what was really good about this was the Yorkshire pudding and the brown sauce. We decided that each eatery offered a different experience but with equally great tasting meal. The sticky date pudding was great tasting!
