Hakka, Non-Halal
Recently on a working trip to Klang. We opt to have a simple lunch instead of bak kut teh which Klang is famous for. Mr. Google shows me a hakka food restaurant nearby, and we made a bee-line to this corner lot restaurant. Parking was aplenty.

Restaurant was simple and clean. We were attended to by some foreign workers, but they were friendly, well trained and took our orders effortlessly.

A browse through the menu shows many food options available. We ordered their signature roasted pork chop, deep fried Hakka meatballs, clay pot pork trotter in black vinegar, clay pot sourish mustard, fish ball soup and stir fry bean sprout.

The signature roasted pork chop was drench with a simple soya sauce. It was well marinated and flavourful.

Deep fried Hakka meatballs was crispy on the outside, bursting with flavours inside.

Claypot pork trotter in black vinegar was decent, with the right balance of sourness, sweetness in a thick broth.

Sour Mustard Leaf Soup

Fish Ball Soup

Stir Fried Beansprouts

The food was very reasonably priced, so we had the option to order more varieties of food. Service was top notch, and food was served almost immediately. Food payment was made at the counter, where you will come face to face with a smiling lady boss who’s chatty, witty and humorous.
