Kimchi Dining Lunch
Korean, Non-Halal

Korean, BBQ, Non-Halal
My first time at Han Woo Ri Korean BBQ USJ was awhile back after watching a Korean food documentary and it inspired me to look for hanwoo beef. While the food was good, the leaking air-con was not an appealing factor. I am glad to report that they have fixed that issue with my latest visit.
We were a party of 6 and I opted for Set A, designed for 4 people, and added a few more items to round off the feast.
Korean BBQ is truly a wonderful communal meal, perfect for sharing with family and friends. There’s something about gathering around the sizzling grill that creates an atmosphere of warmth and bonding. The array of food—from juicy chicken, tender beef, and fresh seafood, to a variety of noodles, rice, and the ever-essential banchan (side dishes)—comes together to create a complete and satisfying meal. Korean BBQ leaves me wanting for more, it's never a dull moment on my palate. And I always tend to over-eat when I have it.
Among the dishes we had that night, I particularly enjoyed the japchae, with its slightly chewy glass noodles and savoury flavour, and the bbq pork belly (an extra that was not part of the set), which was perfectly seasoned and barbecued.
There's one more plus about Han Woo Ri Korean BBQ USJ. The place is well ventilated and not smoky. So you don't leave the outlet smelling like you have been smoked. While it's part and parcel of K-BBQ, it's not a part of it that I enjoy.
In total, dinner for six came up to RM750, which, considering the spread and quality, felt justified. I can easily see why Han Woo Ri remains a favourite for Korean BBQ in the area.
