Don't miss out on this hidden gem in Pantai Dalam! The ambiance at Ayam Golek 5 Bintang is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends and family. So, if you're looking for a culinary adventure that celebrates the flavors of Malaysia, head over to Ayam Golek 5 Bintang and indulge in a memorable dining experience that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you with a newfound appreciation for Malaysian cuisine.
A whole Ayam Golek costs me RM27.00 and since it’s fasting month, I took away home in a nice paper wrapper. The sweet smell of the honey marinated chicken besides other spices filled the entire room upon unwrapping. The whole bird looks huge, unlike some scrawny ones you buy elsewhere. I must say that it taste good and delicious, less oily than expected and most importantly the meat easily peels off from the bone and it is freshly cooked.
On normal days it opens at 11.30 am and closes by 11 pm. You may choose to dine in for lunch or dinner with rice sets. There are ample seats and tables in the dining area.
There is limited parking spaces at the stall so be prepared to park from a distance at the busy road side.
