Ayam Golek, Street Food, Pork-Free
It’s the fasting month during the holy month of Ramadan for the Muslim. So I went on a food hunt for the elusive yet famous Ayam Golek at Pantai Dalam. If you find yourself in the vibrant city of Pantai Dalam, make sure to check out Ayam Golek 5 Bintang for a truly delicious culinary experience. This popular spot is renowned for its signature dish, Ayam Golek, a traditional Malaysian grilled chicken that is bursting with flavor.

The chicken is marinated in a blend of local spices and herbs, giving it a unique and mouthwatering taste that will leave you craving for more. One bite of the tender and juicy Ayam Golek at Ayam Golek 5 Bintang is enough to transport you to a culinary paradise. The perfectly grilled chicken is served with fragrant rice and a side of spicy sambal, creating a harmonious combination of flavors and textures.

Whether you are a local foodie looking for an authentic taste of Malaysia or a traveler eager to explore the rich culinary heritage of the region, Ayam Golek 5 Bintang is a must-visit destination that will satisfy your cravings for delicious Malaysian cuisine. Don't miss out on this hidden gem in Pantai Dalam! The ambiance at Ayam Golek 5 Bintang is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends and family. The friendly staff are always happy to recommend their favorite dishes and provide insights into Malaysian culinary traditions. So, if you're looking for a culinary adventure that celebrates the flavors of Malaysia, head over to Ayam Golek 5 Bintang and indulge in a memorable dining experience that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you with a newfound appreciation for Malaysian cuisine.

A whole Ayam Golek costs me RM27.00 and since it’s fasting month, I took away home in a nice paper wrapper. The sweet smell of the honey marinated chicken besides other spices filled the entire room upon unwrapping. The whole bird looks huge, unlike some scrawny ones you buy elsewhere. I must say that it taste good and delicious, less oily than expected and most importantly the meat easily peels off from the bone and it is freshly cooked.

On normal days it opens at 11.30 am and closes by 11 pm. You may choose to dine in for lunch or dinner with rice sets. There are ample seats and tables in the dining area.
There is limited parking spaces at the stall so be prepared to park from a distance at the busy road side.
