Pie, Pork-Free
My friend had raved about the pies at Baked by Veronica, which she declared to be a hidden gem in PJ. Their location within the Glo Damansara building doesn't make them easy to find but since I was there for meetings, I decided to pack a chicken pie and a tuna puff home. And once I brought them home, I had them refrigerated overnight before I consumed them. Would it have an effect on the pie? As I carefully heated the chicken pie and tuna puff in the oven, the tantalizing aroma of buttery goodness filled the air, piquing my appetite and heightening my anticipation.

The tuna puff felt a bit dry but this could really have been the overnight effect. But it still tasted good.

But it was the chicken pie which was the star. With each golden-brown bite, I found myself enjoying the tender chunks of chicken mingled harmoniously with the creamy filling. Despite having spent the night in the fridge, the pie retained its deliciousness, offering a satisfyingly hearty and flavourful experience that exceeded my expectations.

One aspect that truly stood out was the remarkable affordability of the chicken pie, priced at under RM13. For such a generously portioned and flavour-packed delight, the value for money was simply unbeatable, making it an ideal option for those seeking a satisfying and budget-friendly meal. All in with the tuna puff, I paid just about RM22.
With affordable prices, generous portions, and delicious flavours, Baked by Veronica has undoubtedly earned its place as a must-visit destination for pie enthusiasts.
