Bigg Papadam opened in 2020 (or was it end 2019) and while I did give it a try earlier, I did not like the flavour of curries there the first time around. They were closed for awhile this year and only recently reopened their doors. I decided to venture buying some curry from them recently. And what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be.

The mutton in the mutton curry at Bigg Papadam was firm and without bones. The curry, while imbued with spice was not overly hot. The snake gourd and the brinjal provided a nice crunch and a tender texture respectively. Both opposites yet oddly complementary.

All that for RM13! The portion at Bigg Papadam would have been enough for two. And that is together with a bag of papadam. The papadam had lost its crispiness and was not so good, so I could have passed on that and not miss a thing. But the rest, it was all good.

PSA – Parking during lunch around the Bigg Papadam area is sometimes difficult. Try going to the other side of the block. You might find parking bays there instead.
