Just hit up the new Burger & Lobster Manila at BGC, and here’s the lowdown. It’s got a more laid-back vibe than its KL counterpart, which leans more upscale. Seems like a strategic move to fit the local scene.
The lobsters? As fresh as ever; I’d expect nothing less from these guys. They’ve even thrown in a local spin with the Manila Roll, riffing on the classic but with that Filipino flair.
Had to try the must-have combo and the local roll for science. Verdict? They nailed the quality, but I’m still hooked on the original and the lobster laksa from KL. Looks like I’ve got an excuse for a KLCC trip soon.
The burger was on point; juicy and packed with flavor. The fries, though, could use a bit of a tweak; a touch too soggy for my taste. But hey, they just opened, and there’s always a bit of ironing out to do. I’ll swing by again once they’ve had a chance to crisp things up.
