Beef Stroganoff, Western, Fine Dining, Pork-Free
Was craving for Beef Stroganoff. It’s a recurring feeling every few years. Something reminiscent of my days in MAS where crew meals were either Ayam Percik Rice or Beef Stroganoff Fettuccine. We came here to Delia Wines & Bistro, TTDI.
Upon recommendations from the Head Chef Dimitri, we were introduced to a starter of Herring Salad which was phenomenally delicate yet tantaslising.

This was followed by an appetiser of Buratta Cheese in Sourdough Toast. The Buratta Cheese after being toasted lightly really melts in the mouth and the toasted vegetables that mattressed it was superbly done.

Then came the entree. Frog Legs in Garlic and Butter, Let me stress, they were the sexiest and tastiest legs I have ever had! The lightly crispy layer of breadcrumbs or perhaps some sort of flour (which was later revealed to us ) was simply sumptuous. It wasn’t too oily although you could see a layer of oil on the plate which we happilu soaked mour bread in. The taste was just unexplainable.

Then came my long awaited Beef Stroganoff in French Onion Sauce. One look and I thought “Hey this is nothing like the one I had to reheat on board, this is rice! However one scoop of the Pilaf Rice mixed with the Beef and I was taken higher than the clouds. I couldn’t understand how after the prior 3 courses, I could still finish the whole darn thing.
*Stroganoff was pre-ordered as it wasn’t on the menu
Would I come back to Delia Wines & Bistro again? Hell yes! Especially if the Chef remains and ‘NoNo’ the lengzhai waiter is still around
Our entire meal costs less than RM250 for two. Perhaps about RM130 more if you order a whole bottle of wine.
