We had dinner at POKOK LaLaport which was at the rooftop. Service was excellent as the staff were attentive and polite. The dishes were mixed reviews. The nasi lemak with fried chicken and prawn sambal was bland. Sambal was flat.
The steak was pretty good. Doneness was spot on.
The fish and chips were as expected. Not too oily and the batter a little bland.
The char kueh teow was good. Strong work hei.
Seafood chowder was watery. It had good portions but sadly not creamy enough.
The place was cosy and lovely and can be pricey.
