We started our anniversary celebration with lunch at this much publicised place, Peaches and Cream. The ambiance and decor was very immaculate as were the service from very attentive and knowledgeable servers. The food though was a little underwhelming. Menu selection was extensive though especially their dessert menu. They decorate according to season, so now it’s the winter motif. Some feedback on the food accompanying the pics below. It was a very lovely experience though.
This prawn dish had some spice and was quite unique. I did expect bigger prawns for the price. We used the sauce to accompany the mash later.

The saffron mussel soup desperately needed seasoning.

The beef rib stew was pretty good. Strong flavours and tender meat. Rich in aroma.

Mash was very creamy as we tasted more cream than potatoes. But smooth and went well with our dishes’ sauces.

The trolley with some very sexy homemade desserts. Presentation could be better.

Sadly we only had room for 1 dessert and we chose the tiramisu. We loved the taste and it had good servings of alcohol, coffee and cream. Though the biscuit was too hard.
