Beef Noodles, Street Food, Non-Halal
It was our first visit to Hakka Legend, a spot that’s taken over the premises of the former Restoran Gembira. With new operators and a fresh look, it seemed like the right place for a casual meal. Jen was particularly intrigued by the Seremban beef noodles on the menu, so naturally, she had to give it a go.
The mixed beef noodle soup (RM14) turned out to be quite herbally. While this might not be for everyone, I found it comforting in its own way. The real star was the sauce that coated the dry noodles — thick, savoury, and packed with flavour. It clung to each strand of noodle, giving the dish a hearty appeal. However, the beef itself was a bit of a letdown. It wasn’t the most tender cut and the tripe was particularly chewy.
The additional bowl of beef balls was an RM8 add on. So overall, her order came up to RM22.
