Basilico Restaurant Lunch

Chiefeater William WL Loo wanted a change of palate from street food so indulged in a bit of Italian with lunch at Basilico Restaurant
Curry Mee, Street Food, Non-Halal
When it rains throughout the night till morning, eat curry mee. This is one of the 2 Penang style white curry mee that I regularly patronise whenever I have cravings .The curry is medium bodied and the sambal robust but not overwhelming. Secret to great curry mee is a well balanced smooth curry broth. Sotong bits are perfectly cooked. No cockles which is ok cuz cockles in JB are so tiny. My only grouse is that I find the blood cubes too firm n powdery. The curry mee blood cubes in Jalan Maju are delicately soft n jiggly but that's a story for another day.
