Chiefeater Jaimy Yee had a Hawaiian burger, mushroom soup, steak and mushroom pie and fish and chips at Gravy Baby Queensbay Mall

Fries, Pork-Free
It’s been a while since I last had a burger at KGB, so I decided to give the KGB Burgers SS15 a try. We ordered the Animal Style Burger (RM17.90) and the Spiked Burger (RM20.90). Both burgers came with fairly decent beef (albeit on the thin side) patties, cooked to a medium doneness with some juiciness intact.

The buns held together well, which is always a plus, especially for a loaded burger. The sauces were flavourful enough, and the portion size was reasonable for the price. But somehow, the burgers just didn’t have that extra kick or character that made me crave to come back for more.

If anything truly stood out, it was the Russet Potato Fries (RM9.50). These were properly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and had that earthy richness that only good quality potatoes can deliver. Lightly seasoned and served piping hot, they were the kind of fries you’d keep reaching for long after you told yourself you were done.
If you’re in the area and not particularly hungry for a full meal, just get the fries and enjoy them while they’re hot.
