I must say that the food at Taste of Medan Segambut is good. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is cozy. The shop is nestled among a few rows of shops within a residential area.

My order of nasi lemak ayam goreng berempah had a generous amount of various side items apart from a huge drumstick!

The lontong sayur was quite nice too, with a fragrant gravy to go with it.

Pie tee was good - the sengkuang was still crunchy and nice.

The owner and staff at Taste of Medan all speak Hokkien. During my visit there, almost all the tables were taken up. Definitely a popular joint for good food. There were other interesting items that we wanted to try, but limited to our stomach space. Definitely will make more trips in the future to try out their other offerings.
