Chicken Chop, Pork-Free
Our lunch at MEMD in Sri Petaling was a mixed bag of hits and misses. Jen opted for the Black Pepper Chicken Chop (yeah, not me), a dish that surpassed the appearance of the picture that I took. The succulent meat paired with a spicy black pepper sauce proved to be a palate-pleasing combination. At RM24+, it was moderately priced.

On the other hand, I chose the Chorizo Shashuka (RM23+) because it's not an item I often see in many menus and it's good to have a change. The dish came with a raw egg placed inside the shashuka, so that might give some people cause for concern. While the sausage contributed positively to the overall taste, the abundance of onions seemed to dominate the dish, slightly overwhelming its flavours.

Jen's choice of beverage, the Lime with Pulps (RM10+), stood out as a refreshing and delightful addition to the meal, offering a burst of citrusy goodness.
The ambiance at MEMD Sri Petaling exuded a modern and comfortable vibe, creating a welcoming setting for our dining experience. The attentive service from the staff further added to the positive aspects of our visit. The inner dining room looks like it would be good for a private party too. Reach out to them at the WhatsApp link below to ask them about it. As usual, parking in this area is tough to find but it's located within a short walk of the multi storey car park.
