Nasi Lemak, Pork-Free
It had been a long time since I last ordered from Nale Sunway Monash, but Jen was craving a good nasi lemak, so I decided to get it delivered for her. The order came from their ghost kitchen in Sunway Monash and arrived just in time for dinner.

The Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (RM23.90) turned out to be quite good. The rice was firm, fluffy, and carried that signature fragrance, while the sambal had a lovely balance of spicy and sour notes. It wasn’t the sweet sambal some might expect, but the tanginess suited us perfectly. The fried chicken was flavourful, though not very crispy, and the ikan bilis lacked crunch—likely due to the almost hour-long travel time. Still, for RM23.90, it's premium but worth it when you’re after a well-executed nasi lemak.

Unfortunately, the beef rendang (RM21.90) was a letdown. The texture of the meat was inconsistent. Some pieces were tender, but others were unpleasantly chewy. For such a classic dish, this lack of uniformity was disappointing.
