Breakfast before my journey to the South. RM5.00 curry mee (beehoon) at the old New Dragon Phoenix Kopitiam Farlim, Penang. Good taste. Similar to the curry laksa (Melaka's version of curry mee) at Yi Jia kopitiam that I frequent cost RM6.00. Most noodles cost RM6.00 now.

Hawker food at Farlim Penang is still reasonably priced. I can still get a basic plate of Jawa mee for RM2.50 and wan tan mee for RM4.00. So the cost of simple hawker food depends on where we choose to eat.
