Pie, Pork-Free
Jen and I were at Damansara Jaya on a Monday morning and wondering where to have breakfast. That was when I remembered Nichole’s which served some good quiche options. We were there at 10 am but unfortunately the quiches that Jen wanted were unavailable at that time. Instead she had scones.
She ordered a ham & cheese scone and a cranberry scone. The set of scones was RM18.

I wanted the Steak & Mushroom Pie but that too wasn’t available. Probably we were too early. So I had the Chicken & Mushroom Pie (RM27) instead. The pie comes with a side of roasted potato and salad. I enjoyed the potato, it was well seasoned roast tuber. The pie filling of chicken was tasty. There was no need to add any pepper or any other seasoning. In fact, I didn’t even need the sauce to complement the pie. It was good enough by itself.

But what really made me enjoy my meal at Nicholes Cakery Cafe was the attentive and courteous service from the elder lady who served us. I didn’t get her name but she made our experience there pleasant.
Prices at Nicholes Cakery Cafe are nett.
PSA – They will be launching a new set lunch menu starting on 5 July 2023.
