Toast, Soft Boiled Eggs, Kopi, Pork-Free
It had been a while since my last visit to Oriental Kopi Puchong. With so many dining options available and the convenience of nearby eateries, I had overlooked this gem for some time. However, my recent return was prompted by their enticing new breakfast sets, starting as low as RM5.90++.
Opting for the soft boiled eggs, toast, and cham set priced at RM9.90++, I found it to be an exceptional deal. The breakfast set offered a comforting combination of soft boiled eggs, toast, and a soothing cup of cham (a mix of coffee and tea).
Despite the affordability, there was one notable change I observed in their toast. It seemed more brittle than before, breaking apart quite easily. Additionally, the kaya served alongside was on the runny side. Despite these minor quibbles, the overall value of the meal was evident, given the bustling atmosphere and the queue of eager diners.
One aspect that continues to stand out during my visit was how efficiently Oriental Kopi Puchong managed the crowd. Despite the full house and the waiting line, the staff processed orders swiftly, ensuring that customers were served promptly. This seamless operation contributed to the positive dining experience, making it clear why Oriental Kopitiam remains a popular choice among locals.
