Claypot Lamb Brisket, Non-Halal
Papai Lamb Pot Claypot Lamb Brisket has recently moved to a new location, so I made plans with a few foodie friends to visit their new restaurant for a hot pot feast.
The owner recommended several signature dishes, and we all ordered their Hong Kong-style braised bamboo shoots with lamb brisket clay pot. The thick and flavourful broth was excellent, and we even had the option to add soup and ingredients for a hot pot experience. They also have a unique creation called the Spicy Mala Lamb Brisket Clay Pot, which had just the right level of spiciness. The lamb brisket was tender and mouth-watering. Next, my personal favourite, the Chicken Nest Clay Pot, with half a kampong chicken, was savoury and fragrant, perfect with rice. The Clay Pot Rice with Pork Lard Crisps, topped with a raw egg yolk, released a burst of egg aroma as we mixed it in. The owner also recommended several Chinese-style grilled skewers, including freshly grilled lamb skewers, chicken tails, and chicken gizzards, dusted with spicy powder for an extra tasty kick. Don’t forget to try their Fermented Bean Curd Deep-Fried Pork, it pairs perfectly with beer!
