Chinese, Non-Halal
The menu at Paradise Classic Holland Village features a diverse range of modern interpretations of local favourites, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. They’re part of the Paradise group which I ditched earlier for the Imperial Group – especially the Cantonese and Teochew offerings in Great World City and ION respectively. But venturing to One Holland Village – there are quite a number of Chinese options, including Hippot, Lao Wang claypot and even Crystal Jade.
Some of the must-try dishes include the Crispy Sweet and Sour Pork, Braised Big Prawn Hor Fun with Prawn Broth, Steamed Minced Pork with Salted Egg Yolk, and Traditional Stir-Fried Mee Sua. The Braised Big Prawn Hor Fun with Prawn Broth is recommended, thanks to its full-bodied broth, luscious prawns, smooth hor fun noodles, and wok hei.
The fried rice benchmark must be met – and it’s a 6.5/10. They serve the lime chilli sambal which is a plus.

The choy poh omelette was also a 6.5/10, good

The trio spinach with eggs was also 6.5/10

Being a member, we also got a free complementary plate of scallion oil chicken (worth SGD20).

Overall a no frills family Chinese diner serving consistent 6.5 to 7 local dishes.
Paradise Classic is a sub brand, not their main flagship offering. Prices slightly lower than the gourmand offerings in CBD. Total damage SGD80 for 4 pax. We had 5 dishes between us. Not bad.
