Looking for an afternoon snack, I decided to try Pisang Goreng Roby Azmy, operating from Kampung Tengah. The delivery was swift, and the fritters arrived crisp and ready to eat. What set this snack apart was the sambal hitam that accompanied the banana fritters. The sambal, rich in spice and flavour, provided a spicy and savoury contrast to the natural sweetness of the bananas, making for a delightful combination. This mix of sweet and spicy hits just the right notes for me. Perfectly suited for local palates who love bold flavours.
Also ordered the cucur udang but the bananas was the winner for me.
