Chicken Rice, Non-Halal
Chicken Rice is a "staple dish" for many, a comfort food easily found at many Kopi Tiams and Food Courts. Pu Yat Thian Chicken Rice is unusual as it's a Stand alone outlet and they only serve poached chicken with either Rice or Koey Teow. If you want the "Roast" Chicken here, you are out of luck.
Another unusual thing is it's operation hours, from noon until 10 pm. (pre MCO they operate past midnight). So you can have chicken rice for Tea.
Their poached chicken is pretty good, easily among the Top in the Area, in the Foodie are of Chai Leng Park and comes with a side of Crunch Beansprouts. U can also have fish ball or meat ball in the accompanying soup if you so wish.
My lunch (pic) was with an add on of gizzard n liver.
From my understanding they have been operating here for a very very long time. Plates were well worn.
