Chiefeater Howard Chan had a lovely lunch at Long Yan Seafood Restaurant after an enjoyable ride to Port Dickson before heading home

Chinese, Claypot Curry Fish, Non-Halal
Hey makan-makan buddies! I read Chiefater VK's earlier review about Restoran Mooi Jie Kitchen that's both sedap and murah (delicious and cheap). Intrigued by the combo, my wife and I decided to check it out.
First impressions matter, and this place nailed it. Clean as a whistle, and thank goodness, no weird food smells. The wife was pleased, and you know how important that is, right?
Now, let's talk about the food. We ordered the claypot fish slice curry, an omelette and some braised taufu, and boy, oh boy, it was lemak-licious! The portion was so huge, we couldn't even finish the claypot curry. We ended up tapau-ing (taking away) the leftovers for a lip-smacking dinner the next day. The fish slices were cooked just right, and the flavours were spot-on. No complaints from our taste buds!

Here's a little tip, though. When we arrived at 6 pm, there were only two occupied tables. Half an hour later, the place was packed like sardines. So, if you're planning to go, better book in advance to secure your spot. Trust me, it's worth it!
To sum it all up, this place lives up to its reputation of being sedap and murah. The clay pot fish slice curry and taufu were to die for, the place was squeaky clean, and the only downside was the limited seating. So, jom (let's go) and give this place a try if you're craving some delicious yet pocket-friendly makan!
Selamat makan (Enjoy your meal)!
