Szechuan, Fine Dining
Authenticity is often the benchmark that defines good food. Therefore, when it comes to the iconic status of Cantonese and Sichuan cuisines, Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at 1 UOB Plaza; their original outlet is in PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road,
At the helm of all the preparations in the kitchen is Executive Cantonese Chef Leung Wing Cheung and team. As with Szechuan cuisine – everything comes in hot. Suffering from a sore throat I asked for milder recommendations
Since we’re just a party of two for work (client), we decided on dim sum and a noodle – sang har meen!
Well close. Not exactly. It’s garlic steamed lobster on a bed of vermicelli to soak up all the juices.
I’ve been here several times for work. The main highlights are their spicy dishes and Szechuan delicacies. Don’t miss that for the price, probably top 3 Szechuan high end eatery in town. The experience getting up to Level 60 in UOB Plaza is fun too. The views are just stunning. This place is easily a 7.5/10 consistently over the years. Now if I didn’t need to focus on work while I’m eating..

I don’t think they’re well known for their dim sum but obviously it came out ok 7/10
