Sin Bee Chew is certainly the restaurant to go for authentic Hainanese chicken chop on both sides of the Penang Channel. It was established in 1946 by the great-grandparents of the current proprietress. Sin Bee Chew Hainanese chicken chop prepared with the recipe passed down from the current proprietress' great grandparents.

Each plate comes with a generous portion of deep-fried deboned chicken thigh together with potato fries and vegetables. It is served with a splash of its flavourful gravy.

Besides its signature chicken chop, this restaurant serves a spendid array of 'chu char' dishes with chicken, beef, seafood and vegetables. Their Inche Kabin chicken, fried noodles and fried rice are very popular. The prices for the Hainanese chicken chop and Inche Kabin fried chicken.

The restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly. Prices have been raised but they still are reasonable.
