K Munch Corner Breakfast

Chiefeater Jotaro Zen had a breakfast stop at K Munch Corner in Bandar Sri Damansara

Mediterranean, Pork-free
The Grinz at Seputeh just opened its doors recently. They serve Mediterranean cuisine which means you will have items on the menu from the countries lining the Mediterranean Sea. So expect to see items on their menu that brings together influences from Italy, Turkey and even Lebanon.
While I tried out a few items when I was there, it is the Grouper dish that I want to bring attention to because of the care they bring to this dish. The chef said that they don't buy frozen fillet but buy the whole fish fresh and then fillet it themselves. That ensures that you will get a piece of choice ingredient served to you.

Served with a beetroot stew and cilantro oil, the Pan Roasted Grouper (RM58) was so well seasoned and pan roasted that I could have just eaten the fish by itself without the accompanying sauces. The meat was firm to the bite but retained the juicy flavours it had been seasoned in. The restaurant is still new and there are still some kinks to be worked out but if you are looking for a serene place to have a dinner in KL, The Grinz could be just the place for you.
If you are looking for a venue to hold a casual al-fresco dinner or party for up to 150 pax, this is a good option.
