Roast Duck, Pork-Free
I remembered my good experience at The Travelling Duck Tropicana Gardens Mall the last time I was there some 2 years ago. Since I was there for a meeting, I decided to take pack some duck home for dinner. I had wanted to order half a duck but I decided to indulge in the Travelling Duck's specialty by ordering a whole duck. At a delightful price of RM128 nett, it was an offer that was hard to resist. And trust me, it was a decision I didn't regret.
All through the journey home, the aroma of the duck wafted through the cabin of the car and it just whetted my appetite for it.
Once it arrived home, the 3 of us dove into it without wasting time. It was a tantalizing sight – glistening skin, tender meat, and an enticing blend of flavours. As I dug in, I couldn't help but savour the delightful tenderness of the duck's meat. It was succulent, full of flavour, and not overly oily. The accompanying sauces also served to elevate the taste of the duck. The plum sauce and other condiments complemented the duck impeccably. Each bite was a burst of flavours that danced on the palate.

As if the roast duck wasn't already delightful enough, I decided to take my dining experience up a notch. I paired it with a bottle of Ardbeg Smoketrails. The combination of the smoky whiskey and the savoury duck was pure magic. The smokiness of the Ardbeg wonderfully complemented the gamey flavour of the duck, creating a symphony of tastes that lingered on my taste buds.

We left nothing unconsumed.

So, the next time you find yourself at Tropicana Garden Mall, make sure to drop by The Travelling Duck Tropicana Gardens Mall. A delicious experience awaits, and it's one that you won't want to miss. PS, their Wantan Mee is good too!
