Suparakki Ramen Yishun is Good
Japanese, Ramen, Non-Halal
Chiefeater Alan Ang pampered himself to a good meal of Japanese ramen at Suparakki Ramen Yishun
Beer, Non-Halal
Uncle Don’s Puchong used to be a magnet for beer and food lovers, particularly for their devil’s curry and mutton veruval. For the uninitiated, veruval is a traditional South Indian dry curry, typically prepared with a blend of spices that coats the meat, delivering an intense burst of flavours with every bite.
We decided to revisit some old favourites by ordering the Nasi Lemak with Mutton Veruval and the Chili con Carne Nachos with Mutton. However, the experience fell short of our memories. The mutton veruval, which once packed a punch with its robust spice blend, now seemed to have lost its edge. The flavours were muted, as if the recipe had been dialled down, missing the fiery kick that made it so special.
There's still one bright side. Their beers remain competitively priced. They sell a set of 3 Sapporo for RM36. And the service remains quick and efficient.
