Aki Pancake at Super Tanker Food Court is so popular in Penang that when we talk about ban chien kueh (peanut pancakes) here, its name is sure to be mentioned. There is always a small crowd of people waiting for their ban chien kueh at the far end of the Super Tanker Food Court where this stall is located.

Mr and Mrs Goh offer an amazing array of about 100 types of delicious fillings for the pancakes. Besides the basic peanuts and cream corn fillings, there are egg, cheese, tuna, ham, pork floss, banana, chocolate, coconut, raisins and their combinations to choose from. Ban chien kueh is best eaten while its outer layer is still firm and crispy with the filling warm and moist.
