Meal at Watermark Restaurant

Chiefeater Joyce Lee had a meal at Watermark Restaurant and while the food was good, she did find the dessert too sweet for her

Italian, Non-Halal
Respite from Chinese and street food. Wanted to check out this little Italian themed bistro, Basilico Restaurant, for a while but I always get sidetracked by nasi kandar.
Enjoyed the mussels in white wine (RM26.90) which has a nice fire to it with tiny bit of chilli padi. The grandma's beef lasagna (RM36.90) was ok cuz I can cook a mean beef sauce filling myself. Will probably come back for dinner with an Italian red. Corkage is ok at rm25 though they have a modest wine list of whites n reds. Prices here are reasonable. Nothing in excess of rm109.90 which is for the striploin steak in red wine sauce .( But I dunno how big/small the cut is) Pizzas look great from 39.90 to 49.90.
