I was pleased to see that Brewmaster IOI Puchong had re-opened in Puchong in July 2023. It’s listed as Brewmaster IOI on Google Maps. This pub was popular a few years back for their own craft beers but went into hibernation for awhile. I'm glad they're back, bringing their beer-making expertise to the area once more.
We decided to try their Business Set Lunch which is priced at RM16.90+ for a meal and a drink. The best part is that this set lunch is available daily from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. We ordered their Grilled Chicken Chop, Crispy Tender Chicken Burger and the Aglio Olio with Smoked Duck Breast. There’s also an option to upgrade the drink to their home brewed Starker Lager for an additional RM8+, which I promptly did. It was a weekend, so a lager at lunch is perfectly acceptable.
I was impressed by the generous portions of food. All the dishes were flavourful and satisfying. The chicken chop in particular was well grilled, though the meat was slightly hard.
However, the real highlight was sampling Brewmaster's house beer, Stark Lager. The lager had a nicely balanced taste that was surprisingly fruity and refreshing. It went down extremely smooth.
The space at Brewmaster IOI Puchong itself was comfortable with ample seating. Staff were also friendly and attentive. I am glad to see Brewmaster IOI back in business serving up tasty grub alongside their own tap beers. At those prices for a set lunch, it's difficult to find a better deal for good food and local craft brews. I'll definitely be returning for more.
They currently have 3 outlets. The first opened in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling and the third has just opened in Bandar Manjalara Kepong.
