Was at Cheras yesterday and saw this place, 粮食馆 or Liang Shi Guan. Adventurous me always check out new places, I went in to see what dishes are offered. The Lala Mihun Broth (above) was full of umami – there was lots of Lala. However, the Johor Laksa was ordinary with broth “lemak” enough.

Later, a Chinese national came in with his kids and among the dishes he ordered was Waffle Ice-Cream, which I heard his kids saying as delicious. It is located opposite Cheras Leisuremall, next to rhe the JALAN MANIS 2 road sign.
