Fried Chicken
Lim Fried Chicken or LFC started operating at SS14 in 1983 and has now grown to more than 10 outlets. With their single hero item of a good fried chicken, they have grown a F&B empire. I remember those days when they were operating out of the hawker stall and there are long queues waiting for fried chicken.
Today with 15 outlets throughout the greater KL and PJ and the Puchong area, you don’t have to brave odd hours or the traffic or the sea of people to get to Lim Fried Chicken. We headed to Lim Fried Chicken Puchong at Bandar Puteri for lunch. Bandar Puteri 1 is usually a nightmare parking zone but because LFC is located opposite the Hero supermarket, the parking situation is somewhat remedied.

A plate of rice and fried chicken with a side of vegetable is RM14.90+. What you get for that is a big plate of rice doused in curry. Their food continues to be well seasoned. The chicken fried to order ensuring that you get a hot piece of crispy crunch resounding morsel of meat. And no sign of pinkness in the meat. It is not the cheapest fried chicken rice you will find in town, but I doubt there are many that is this satisfying.
Their signature iced coffee (RM5.90+) is a good brew. Well blended where the bitterness does not overpower the flavour of the coffee and not overly sweet too.
Perhaps the only dissatisfying bit of the meal was the person/s sitting at the next table. The menu was in their way on the table and one of them just turned around and put his menu on our table while we were sitting there. What a rude _________ (fill in the appropriate adjective that you would see fit to use on him)
