When you are puffing and panting during a hike up Penang Hill, think of the nice ice kacang waiting for you at the top of the hill. That would certainly pep you up! Penang Hill Lily Ice Kacang located at the Cliff Cafe (Astaka Bukit Bendera) offers ice kacang, cendol, fresh-cut fruits, smoothies, fruit juices and other beverages.
It started as an ice kacang stall by Aunty Lily in 1986. When her daughter, Zess joined her, they added more varieties of drinks and desserts to their menu. Aunty Lily (right) and her daughter Zess, friendly and welcoming at all times.
Personally, Aunty Lily's ice kacang is the best on Penang Hill. And among the best in Penang too.
A visit to Penang Hill will not be considered complete without savouring a bowl (or two) of this delightful dessert.
Cendul, the best pal of ice kacang, is equally popular here.
A mouth-watering plate of fresh-cut fruits, refreshing and full of vitamins.
Avocado Ice, a nice combination of the various types of fats to replenish our body.
