Chicken Chop, Pork-Free
Jen and I dropped by Take Ten for a quick meal and Jen had a Mee Sedap with Grilled Chicken while I had their Grilled Chicken Chop (RM15.90).
Mee Sedap with Grilled Chicken was exactly that. Mee Sedap with Mee Sedap flavoring and a grilled chicken.

I slightly regretted my Grilled Chicken Chop choice , mainly due to the teriyaki marinade, which didn’t quite align with my expectations for a Western-style grilled chop. In hindsight, the fried version might have been the better pick.

That said, there were a few redeeming notes. The black pepper sauce served on the side was outstanding — really spicy, with a proper kick that elevated the whole dish. The chicken itself was well-cooked: tender yet still firm, showing good control in execution.

As for sides, I added a chicken bratwurst (RM4.30) — which turned out to be more like a slightly up-sized cocktail sausage. While not terrible, it didn’t add much value to the plate and could’ve been skipped.
The chicken chop set came with a cup of green tea. If I come back, I’ll give their fried chicken chop a go — and definitely skip the bratwurst.
