Fish
"A fusion of Malaysian local flavors and Japanese lazy-person's treats" I got home from work, feeling perfectly hungry.
I opened the fridge and took out the Onoya Sanriku Onoya Fish Grilled with sweet red miso, which I'd bought earlier at ISETAN Lot 10.

The moment I opened the package, an irresistible aroma wafted out.
The subtle miso scent, mixed with the freshness of the fish, softened the entire kitchen.

Pasar Malam,
I didn't cook dinner tonight. This evening, I passed by a local Pasar Malam (traditional Malaysian market) and got some Nasi Kerabu (blue flower rice), turmeric sticky rice, and nasi lemak to go. Adding a plate of Japanese Fish Grilled with sweet red miso, it was a surprisingly perfect combination. The aromas of coconut, turmeric, and miso intertwined.

Onoya
A simple bowl of rice and a plate of fish were all it took to savor the taste of Japan. Onoya comes from the Sanriku coast of Japan, where the waters are pristine and the seafood abundant.

They insist on using only the finest fish, employing traditional Japanese seasoning, and flash-freezing to lock in the freshness. Simply heat it up to enjoy the authentic Japanese flavor.

Also available at the following locations:
