We attended a supplier's event at Yu Kitchen and was treated to a gastronomic meal. The restaurant is fairly new and ambience is the typical Chinese restaurant. Staff while helpful and hospital would prefer to speak in their mother tongue which I am most comfortable with.

The food was pre-ordered (obviously) but the organiser surely didn't stinge on it. For starters, each table had a big plate of snow crab and all in all, I think there were like 8 or 9 dishes encompassing fish, pork, chicken, beef and others. There was a lot to eat! The dishes were yummy and my personal favourite was the fish cooked under a bed of garlic and the steamed chicken.

I went back again with a bunch of friends and what I found was that the chef was most accommodating and happy to prepare what we requested which was lobster, prepared sashimi style and served with a simple hot pot broth for dipping. That was glorious. It's a special order and therefore one has to be willing to pay for it.

I reckon that this restaurant is a place for celebration as many tables were celebrating birthdays the day we were there.
