It’s been a very long time since I ate at Dave’s Deli Atria. I think the last time I ate hear was before my son was born over 20 years ago.

I was deciding between the roast chicken and the Hainanese Chicken Chop, and ultimately went with the chop (RM27.90). The chicken meat itself was good, as were the fries. However, I didn’t really enjoy the sauce that came with it. It seems I’ve become accustomed to a more oriental style of sauce than this Hainanese offering.

I guess this is where personal preference comes into play. This Hainanese chicken chop had a sauce that leaned towards a savoury-sweet profile, which did not appeal to me.

I should have gone for the roast chicken which is what my friend had.
