Ipoh Tuck Kee Restaurant Dinner

Chiefeater Khor Hui Min was back in Ipoh in time for a simple but delicious dinner at the venerable Ipoh Tuck Kee Restaurant
Fusion, Non-Halal, Fine Dining
Discovered a lovely restaurant, Eclipse by BDC, at a business lunch today at the top floor of Yue Hwa Building in Chinatown. When you walk past Yue Hwa Building, you see traditional chinese medicine herbs and many Chinese products but you would never dream that there is a hidden gem on level 6 which serves delicious food and is so instagramable! The ceiling looked like an illuminated cave and was great for photo taking. This restaurant also has a private room and special events like yacht dining.
Homemade Bread | Honey Dill Butter
Salmon Zuke | Fatt Choy | Salmon Roe | Pickled Radish Ginger Ponzu | Spring Onion Oil
Local Farmed Snapper Fish Broth | Cognac | Roasted Pumpkin Egg Floss | Ginger Oil
Laksa Orzo | Tiger Prawn | Local Farmed Mussel | Baby Squid Quail Egg | Taupok | Coconut Cream
The signature dish that really stood out for me was the laksa orzo, so delicious and full of flavour! The baby squid was so crispy and contrasted well with the creaminess of the orzo.
Choya Jelly | Yuzu Sorbet | Berries Compote | Orange Gel
Definitely a hidden gem in Chinatown.
Lunch sets begin at SGD50
